DIRECTIONS:
Title a piece of lined paper "Artwork Analysis-Native American/Puritan Relationships"

  • Go to google.com and type Puritans and Native Americans into the search box. 
  • Click on the word images underneath the search box. You will see hundreds of images. Do NOT use the image from the English 3 blog. 
  • Look through several images and choose the image that YOU think best portrays the relationship between Native Americans and Puritans. 
  • Click on the image you chose and select visit page. 
  • Print your image and attach it to your lined paper for this assignment. 
  • Answer the questions below on lined paper. 
1. Identify: What is the source (website title and address) of your image? (Also include the name of the artist if it is available.)
2. Explain: Why did you choose this image as the best portrayal of the relationship between Native Americans and Puritans? Point out at least three details from the image that stand out to you.
3. Background: Where did you get your prior knowledge about the Native American/Puritan relationship? (movies, books, teachers, online, etc.)
